Submission Guidelines

At Young Jains Authors, we strive to make the submission process as easy and straightforward as possible for authors. Below is a detailed guide to help you submit your manuscript confidently. By following these steps, you’ll ensure your work is properly formatted and ready for review.

How to Format Your Manuscript?

To ensure a smooth submission process, please follow the formatting instructions below:

  • Font & Size: Use a clear and professional font such as Arial or Times New Roman, with a font size of 12 pt.
  • Spacing: Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with no extra spaces between paragraphs. Use 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Page Numbers: Number your pages in the top right corner.
  • File Format: We prefer receiving manuscripts in Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format. Ensure the file is clearly named (e.g., Manuscript_Title_AuthorName).

Required Submission Materials

When submitting your manuscript, please ensure you include the following:

  • The Manuscript: The complete, formatted manuscript of your book, including title, chapters, and any relevant appendices or references.
  • Synopsis: A brief (1-2 paragraph) synopsis of your book, summarizing the content and its key themes. This will help us quickly understand your work.
  • Author Bio: A short biography highlighting your background, your writing experience, and why you’re passionate about the subject matter of your book.
  • Sample Chapters: For larger works, we may request 1-3 sample chapters to assess the writing style, tone, and suitability for publication.

Submission Deadlines and Timelines

We understand that time is precious, and we strive to work within your desired timelines. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:

  • Submission Window: We accept submissions year-round, but we recommend submitting well in advance to account for review and processing time.
  • Review Time: Once we receive your manuscript, the review process typically takes 3-4 weeks. During this time, we assess the quality, relevance, and alignment with Jain principles.
  • Feedback & Revisions: If selected, we’ll provide feedback and recommendations for revisions to ensure your book is of the highest quality.
  • Publication Timeline: From final approval, we aim to have your book ready for print or digital distribution within 2-3 months, depending on complexity.

Once you have your manuscript and required materials ready, submit them to us through our online submission form or via email. If you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to reach out – we’re here to support you through each step of the process.
